Choose your campus and residence, then the form — about five minutes. You will need your ID or passport number.

The office checks your application and emails you an offer naming your residence.

Accept the offer online. Your residence manager takes it from there.
Anything else — ask us.
Any student registered, or registering, at a university we serve — TUT, UP, Wits, UJ or Rhodes — for the 2027 academic year. If you study somewhere else, apply anyway and tell us where; we will say what we have near you.
Yes. Our residences meet the Department of Higher Education and Training's norms and standards for student housing, and NSFAS-funded students live with us at every site. Choose NSFAS as your funding on the form; a reference number helps but is not needed to apply.
Yes. The form accepts a passport, asylum or refugee permit in place of a South African ID.
To register: an email address and a password. To apply: your ID or passport number, a cellphone number, and — if someone else pays — their name and contact details. Nothing is paid to apply.
Open the confirmation email we sent when you registered — its link signs you in. If you have forgotten your password, ask for a sign-in link instead: we email a one-time link that signs you straight in.
The 2027 intake closes on 31 March 2027. Rooms are allocated as applications are approved, so earlier is better.
